Just laying around...

Grayson has developed this new habit of laying on the counter tops. Sometimes we will just be playing with our toys downstairs and he'll disappear. To our surprise, we'll find him laying on the kitchen counter, upstairs.... kind of like it's his bed or something. He likes to get his head right up to the edge and lay on his stomach. What a silly guy.

He also tries to be the d.j. with mommy's music before he lays down. He likes soothing music for his rest time.

My first field trip!

It was a very exciting day when we had our very first school field trip. Grayson and Mommy got to come with me too. We went to a farm for a hayride. It was so much fun! The day before, we made hankercheifs with our names on them to wear on the hayride. We all got to use the sewing machine to make them.
The playground at the farm was so cool. Horse swings even! After the ride, we ate the lunch we had packed in the park. What a fun day.

Mommy volunteered at my school

Mommy volunteered at my school the other day. It was fun to have her around. I got to show her all the fun things I have learned. We played a game where we had to pretend we were an animal and hop across the mat just like the animal would. I never wanted to be the animal that my teacher told me to be though. Everybody was a snake but I wanted to be a camel. Then everyone was an elephant but I wanted to be a hippo. My mommy says I am a noncomformist.

This is my new friend at school, Wesley. We have a lot of fun together.

Grayson loves getting out of the bath

Grayson and I love taking baths but Gray loves running around "free" even more than that. His favorite thing is to ride his horsie without any clothes on. He is such a character.

Afton - the artist

My mommy said I am really showing my talents lately. I just really love to draw and color. Many of you may have had the pleasure of owning some of art. If you don't have an original yet, don't worry, I will keep on making more. I call this one "Cookie Monster". My mom almost cried when she saw it. She sure goes nuts over stuff like this.

3 years old!

Well, I turned 3 years old this weekend. It feels like it has been a whole week of birthday fun for me. Mommy threw a glamour party for me on Friday, it was so much fun. All my girlfriends and I got our hair done with a crown, put glitter on our bodies and got our nails painted. My birthday cake was so cool, it was shaped like a purse.

I got so many great presents. I couldn't help but say "Oh, my gosh!" or "Oh, my goodness" everytime I opened one up. I was surprised every single time. Here are some great pictures of my party and my actual birthday.

The best thing about being 3 is that I am a big girl now. That means no more pacifiers for me. Mommy and I decided that we should give them to someone who needed them more than me. So, on my birthday, I gave them to baby Scarlett. I think she will take very good care of them.
